This email is specifically for all of the students and families celebrating graduations over the next few weekends, including those Blind Brook High School students who are graduating this coming Sunday.
I want to wish each of you my sincere congratulations! I am absolutely thrilled for you! This is a tremendous achievement and you should all be enormously proud of your accomplishments.
Although there is a normal tendency to throw parties and social gatherings to celebrate, I ask you to remember that we are still in the midst of a pandemic. While Westchester County is in Phase IV of reopening and the number of infections is very low throughout Rye Brook, it is still important to remember that under NY State law, the number of people at social gatherings must be kept to under 50 and people should wear masks when social distancing is not possible. The Rye Brook Police Department will be paying special attention to large gatherings and will be dispersing parties of more than 50 people, so that we don’t have the same type of a problem that Chappaqua had with Coronavirus right after their graduations.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation!
Thank you!
