Leaf Blower Request for Extension 2025

Rye Brook’s seasonal gas leaf blower ban began on May 1, 2024 and is in effect annually between May 1st to September 30th.

Chapter 158, Section 2.1 (E) of the Village Code allows property owners that maintain five (5) or more contiguous acres to request that the Village Board consider a full or partial exemption and/oextension of the seasonal leaf blower ban due to special circumstances which are heard by Village Board of Trustees. If you are interested in reapplying for an extension or exemption, please answer the questions below and submit this completed request form (and any supporting documentation) to Greg Rivera, Assistant t the Village Administrator, at grivera@ryebrookny.gov.

Please note that the Village Board of Trustees may request additional documents to help make a determination on this application for further extension or exemption.
